"My style and love of trippy art definitely sparked after discovering the psychedelic sounds and visuals of Tame Impala. His aesthetic has completely changed the way I approach creativity. The Beatles have also heavily influenced my visual style for “The Magical Maple Tour”, a nod to my favorite album of theirs “The Magical Mystery Tour”, which I designed specifically for this playmat. Surrounded by the same trippy visuals and sounds that got my creativity flowing, it was satisfying coming full circle finishing the design for this playmat at a Tame Impala concert!

HitPoint itself has also been a huge inspiration. Besides the fact that Maple is my favorite in the game, HitPoint was the first TCG I ever played, and it’s still my favorite one. As someone who was never interested and even hesitant to play any TCGs, it’s so simple to learn but so exciting to play that it’s been hard NOT to be hooked! I feel incredibly honored and grateful to have gone from a passionate player to an ambassador for the game, to now a playmat designer! I’m excited to share my design and I hope everyone has as much fun with my design as I did making it!"
